Grandfathered Full Season

Grandfathered Joins Full-Season Club

Happy Grandfathered Day, John Stamos!

Fox confirms that Stamos’ rookie comedy has joined Tuesday companion The Grinder in landing a full-season order.

Like Grinder, Grandfathered has made little ratings noise since debuting last month. Its most recent episode attracted 3.3 million viewers and a 1.0 demo rating. Fox, however, notes that the show has delivered year-over-year gains, increasing the network’s average in the time period by 70 percent in the demo.

Grandfathered is the seventh freshman 2015-16 series to land a full-season order, joining the aforementioned Grinder as well as CBS’ Limitless, NBC’s Blindspot, ABC’s Quantico and Dr. Ken and Fox’s Rosewood.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

Life In Pieces also got a full season order from CBS (this website announced the news on Tuesday). Guess that makes eight shows getting full season orders.

While I like this show and happy I get to watch it all season, I fear this is the only one I’ll get as it will be cancelled at year’s end. 😕

  9. Ellinas1978 says:

State of sitcoms that these two get a pickup. Sure compared to nothing else of quality on network TV I guess they are not bad.

  10. Kyle says:

I stopped watching after 3 episodes. This show is unfunny and boring.
