American Horror Story Hotel Murder House

American Horror Story: Hotel Makes a Freaky Field Trip to Murder House

A word of caution to any American Horror Story: Hotel guests who happen to tour the beautiful-yet-creepy Murder House of Season 1: Pay no attention to the attractive man in the second-floor window… or what he’s doing.

A photo hit Twitter on Wednesday confirming creator Ryan Murphy’s earlier comments that the series would return to its previous stomping spooking grounds this season.

The connection was made clear in Hotel‘s premiere episode, when Christine Estabrook Marcy — aka the realtor who sold the Harmons their killer home in the drama’s first season — showed up as the agent brokering the sale of the titular Hotel Cortez.

From the models of the cars parked in front of the hell-home, it appears that Murder House will be visited in a flashback. And that’s all the speculation we’ve got — but you must have some theories, so hit the comments and let us hear ’em!

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

  1. Grey says:

Is Lady Gaga perhaps Constance’s third child?

  2. Kate says:

Well, hmm, that is odd, Lily Rabe is playing someone else and isn’t really only her, the Infantana, her husband and maybe the maid who are haunting the place circa the 1970s? The Langdons didn’t seem to be there until the nineties (and also, Evan Peters is a bit older looking now than when he was Tate).

  3. Wordsmith says:

I’m guessing that they’ll set it up carefully so that nobody who was in the Murder House season will appear as their new Hotel characters, or vice versa. Setting it as a flashback will help, as most of the prominent ghosts from that season were relatively recent.

    • Wordsmith says:

I could see them bringing back Mena Suvari as the Black Dahlia, or something along those lines. She’s an iconic piece of LA history/culture, which seems to be the theme of this season.

  4. Just because we have actors that appeared on Killer House, doesn’t mean they’re related to the characters from the 1st season. Evan Peters i.e. will be playing a different character but in the case Tate reappears, we know he’s a different person or ghost; ’cause Peters is portraying a different character this time. Yes, we know he’s the same actor, but, in the world of AHS, they don’t know it.

    Am i sound crazy? haha

  5. Fernanda says:

    Constance’s cameo is coming!!!!

  6. Tyler says:

I think perhaps the countess will have something to do with Constance’s albino child (that was cut out of screen time in season 1) remember she had 4 kids and only met 3…

  7. Sue Smith says:

when are these sites going to stop the commercials. I’ll watch the show and never go on this site again.

  8. Siobhan says:

MAYBE the maid in ahs1 will appear in this season, there are a bunch of maids.

  9. Josh says:

Sally died in 1994, the same year that Tate died in the Murder House.

  10. Ella Ferrous says:

She looks very pregnant in an on-set pic. Is she there getting an abortion from the druggy doc?
