Rosewood Season 1 Scripts

Fox Orders More Rosewood Scripts

Rosewood‘s future is looking rosier. The procedural  — starring Morris Chestnut as a private pathologist — got a boost Thursday when, as our sister site Deadline reports, Fox ordered three additional scripts.

This Wednesday’s episode attracted an audience of 5.7 million total viewers and a 1.7, rating slipping 8 and 15 percent from the previous week, which in turn was down from its Sept. 23 premiere.

Though the order falls short of a full-season pickup, it does signal the network’s vote of confidence in the freshman drama.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

me too. I find it difficult to like this show. It ain’t Morris Chesnut’s fault . He’s a good actor . But ugh !

  3. Mr. Tran K says:

Not very happy about the news. Wonder if the series nor the network have second thoughts about it.

    Worst. Show. Ever.

  10. kmw says:

Surprised a little but given Minority Report’s lackluster debut, it probably helps FOX out. However I don’t think its a boost in confidence. Its only three episodes and I don’t see it getting picked up

I just think the show just needs some fine tuning. IMHO, they should get rid of the female detective, bump up the roles of his sister & her fiancee, amp up the friendship between Rose & the captain, and last but not least show how sick Rose’s physical limitations, despite, how physically fit his body appears. The romantic drama can come from his possible relationship with the psychiatrist since they both work with the police dept. And I think there can be a lot of comedy between him and the captain or Anthony Michael Hall’s character.

  12. cuius says:

Given Fox’s other problem shows, guess something had to survive a little longer

  13. Ram510 says:

No surprise here. Fox doesn’t have much to hang it’s hat on so far this season as far as new shows.
It’s sad cause Rosewood isn’t that great of a show.

  14. couchpotatoforsure says:

Sorry, Scratch the words**how sick** from my monologue.LOL

  15. DavidSask says:

People must love Morris as this show is not good!
