Marvel's Luke Cage Casts House of Cards Vet as Villain Cottonmouth

A House of Cards vet is set to deal Luke Cage a load of trouble.

I’m done with all the other Marvel shows besides Daredevil if Simone Missick was cast as Misty Knight. She’s just too matronly and sedentary to be playing a character that’s supposed to be a action heroine and the woman Iron Fist falls in love with. As Ive said, there’s no black actress working that I think would be more perfect for it than Nicole Beharie. So I’m hoping Simone is playing the woman that Luke Cage loved before Jessica Jones and who he wound up enemies with Cottonmouth because of. That would make more sense. And I think I even read an insider breakdown on twitter that Luke would be getting an origin story love interest within his series.

if you can be dissuaded from watching Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Defenders, over this casting then perhaps it’s best you keep your opinion to yourself. Criticizing a woman’s figure like that is unacceptable in this day and age.

And holding out for an actress who is currently on show which would prevent her from signing up for parts in Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Defenders, and whining when she isn’t signed is sad.

Luckily, the show is shaping up to have an amazing cast and I am sure it will be a huge hit for Marvel and Netflix.

Well, I didnt keep my opinion to myself because I didnt want to, but its great to have you to let everyone know whats best.

Not gonna lie. I wanted him as Black Panther. This will do though.
