Amazing Race Cast 2015

Amazing Race 27: 'Kardashians,' Jets Cheerleaders, Paparazzi Among Cast

CBS has revealed the teams for its 27th running of The Amazing Race, and they include a couple of former NFL cheerleaders and a pair of paparazzi photographers.

Also in the mix are two California girls (Jazmine and Danielle) who in their CBS bios liken themselves to Kim and Kourtney Kardashian (aim high!), and a couple who got engaged via an Amazing Race-themed surprise proposal. The ages for this cycle’s ensemble range from 22 to 51.

The next Race gets underway Friday, Sept. 25 at 8/7c, with the teams leaving Venice Beach, Calif. for their first destination, Rio de Janeiro, where they immediately encounter a potentially game-changing fast forward. Click below for the full cast.

  1. Luke says:

Two employees from TMZ, two paparazzi, AND two girls who are trying to be Kardashians? Yikes…

    • Tee says:

Yeah, where are the normal people they used to cast. Everyone looks like a model now.

      • dan says:

I actually thought the cast was more diverse than usual. A pretty good age range, different relationships, various ethnicities and they don’t all look like models (although some do).

  2. I hope the girls that want to be Kardashians fall in a ravine and are never heard from again

  3. AngelWasHere says:

I really hope the TMZ girls and the Kardashian wannabes get eliminated first. :) The black guys look like fun. I miss the days when the contestants were regular ol’ people tho.

  4. Diz says:

All new people, no losers looking for a second chance, and no longer a dating show? I’ll take it!

    • James says:

TAR26 was actually quite good. Offers a fresh dynamics to the race and proves newly-minted teams with no pre-existing relationship can work just as hard as those who does.

  5. Kari says:

Oooh! I’ll be sure to NOT watch this garbage!

  6. marcia silva says:

it would be nice if there was an Amazing Race for older folks. Certainly it is a group that would watch and has money to spend on products advertised.

  7. lkh says:

    Wow-27 seasons-now that’s the amazing part!

  8. HAP says:

Wow. Those two ex-cheerleaders are gorgeous.

  9. Ellinas1978 says:

If they ever do it so you can keep your lead then I’d watch again. Yes continue having the 12 hour mandatory rest. But then get rid of stuff like closed attractions, airplane rids, etc that bunch the teams up again. It should balance out through 15 challenge cycles (or however many they do) and if it doesn’t and someone wins by a day so be it, they were just that good. Learn from it and do more all-around challenges next time.

  10. Evan says:

Recognize the two girls from TMZ as they’re on the syndicated show nightly. Though I never noticed they were ever gone for a month, much less a week. Wonder what that means.
