Chicago Fire has tapped Brian White — who recently was set free on Scandal and currently appears on Mistresses — for a recurring role on Season 4, our sister site Deadline reports.
White will play Dallas Patterson, the new captain of the squad.
Chicago Fire — which returns Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 10/9c — cast The Vampire Diaries‘ Steven R. McQueen as a fresh candidate last week.
White’s other TV credits include Hostages, Beauty and the Beast, Men of a Certain Age and The Shield.
