Narcos: Check Out the Trailer for Netflix's '80s-Set Drug Drama (Missile Launcher Included!)

“In war, good and bad are relative concepts,” offers one DEA agent in the trailer for Netflix’s upcoming drama Narcos — although some of the violent actions that accompany said voice-over look pretty darn clear-cut.

Indeed, the streaming service’s first look at the series includes bold bribes, firing squads and full-scale military maneuvers.

Narcos, penned by Chris Brancato (Hannibal), directed by Jose Padilha (RoboCop) and executive-produced by Padilha and Eric Newman (Hemlock Grove), is the true story of law enforcement’s efforts to stop the spread of cocaine cartels around the world. Its ensemble cast includes Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal as a Mexican DEA agent, Brazilian actor Wagner Moura (as kingpin Pablo Escobar), and Boyd Holbrook (Hatfields & McCoys).

All 10 episodes of Narcos will be available on Friday, Aug. 28, at 12:01am PT.
