Playing House: Kenny Loggins to Visit Maggie and Emma in Season 2

Playing House Kenny Loggins

Playing House is giving Jammers one more reason to “Celebrate Me Home” the USA Network comedy’s upcoming second season (Aug. 4, 10/9c).

USA on Wednesday announced that Kenny Loggins — whose 1977 classic inspired Maggie and Emma’s awesomely awkward pilot sing-along — will guest-star in the Season 2 finale.

In anticipation of the news, stars Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair posed for this spoiler-y selfie. (You can’t tell from their faces, but they’re very excited about all of this.)

In fact, if you’ve been following Parham and St. Clair on social media over the past few months, you’ll know that Playing House has all kinds of wacky goodness in store for fans in Season 2, including an episode with 12-year-old versions of Emma and Maggie; a special visit from Darius Rucker; and the return of Bosephus!

Now that the Log is locked in, which other friendly faces do you hope to see in the show’s second season? Drop all of your thoughts in a comment below.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

I would like to see some more “Tempest Bledsoe”, more Bird Bones/Mark (I like to call them “Bark Bones” or something like that), and always more Zach (need someone to be pregnant again to see some more Doula-ing).

    • Mel says:

Yes!! More Bird Bones please!! One of my daughters fell in love with this show entirely based on the Bird Bones episode and was telling everybody about it. That has to be one of the funniest episodes I’ve ever seen on TV.

I would love to see Deija Owens (Queenetta), we need some of that sass.
