Wayward Pines Sneak Peek: Sheriff Pope Gives Ethan's Wife Some 'Help'

Theresa Burke went looking for her missing husband, but instead is about to find a weird flavor of trouble.

As Episode 2 of Fox’s Wayward Pines came to a close this week, Secret Service agent Ethan Burke’s wife, with son Ben in tow, had decided to trek to Boise. There, Theresa (played by Shannyn Sossamon) hopes to track down Ethan — and hopefully not in the arms of his onetime mistress, Kate (Carla Gugino).

Ha! As it turns out, Kate should be the least of Theresa’s concerns, as seen in the above sneak peek from Episode 3, airing next Thursday, titled “Our Town, Our Law” and featuring more of Sheriff Pope’s (Terrence Howard) special brand of hospitality.

  1. I must say, this show is freaky as hell and better than expected.

Terrance Howard is so creepy in this show. I love it!

I wonder why Ethan saw Theresa and Ben on the gurneys in the hospital. Was he hallucinating? Ugh so many questions.

Hell yeah I agree w/you about Terrence Howard who is just killing it right now on tv! I like the show so far I read a article when the show was about to premiere that there’s going to be a lot of twists and turns and it’s scary/creepy as hell so……it’s crazy!!

Agree. The Sheriff plays such a good part he actually scares me. I love this show and wish they played more than an episode a week. I expected his friend (I can’t remember her name) to last more than 2 episodes before having her throat cut. That made me jump in my seat. Very good show. Love it.

Two episodes in and I’m loving this show. Sorry to see Juliette Lewis bite the dust, but that might not preclude her return!

I’ve read the books so I know what’s coming, unless they changed it for the TV show, but I hope not cause it’s awesome! Loving the TV version!!!

Even tho I’m watching the show is it worth also reading the book? Or does the show give away everything? I’m tossing up whether to buy it.
