Wayward Pines Sneak Peek: Ethan Grills His Ex About Her Strange New Life

Enough with the “mistaken identity” claims and cryptic “They’re watching us” warnings. In this sneak peek from Wayward Pines, displaced Secret Service agent Ethan Burke presses Kate, his onetime colleague (…and more), to tell him what the Idaho is going on here!

In Thursday’s installment of the 10-episode event series — titled “Don’t Discuss Your Life Before” and airing at 9/8c, following an encore of the premiere — Ethan (played by Matt Dillon) pays a visit to the quaint toy store where Kate (Carla Gugino) and her husband Harold (Reed Diamond) toil, though he isn’t toying around. Rather, Ethan’s got questions about Kate, their mutilated coworker and the peculiar town they all found themselves in.

Press play to watch the scene unfold, though it stops short of a pivotal moment where Kate lays out for Ethan the specific “rules” of Wayward Pines life.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

There must be a way out of the town if the doctor was able to travel to Seattle and they are able to bring people in… Ethan just needs to find it.

    • Wyatt Clough says:

Think about it this way as a lateral thinking puzzle –

Two boys are playing at a construction site. They find a section of pipe on the ground that hasn’t been installed yet, about 10 feet long in length, large enough to fit the boy in if he crawls through. Both boys enter a different side, crawl all the way through, and exit the other end. Yet, neither boy encounters the other boy.

When you understand how that can be; you will understand how the doctor can be outside the town and inside the town. (based upon the ending in the book series)

This show is fantastic. It has a nice Twin Peaks/The Prisoner influence to it!

    • Wyatt Clough says:
