Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood' Music Video Features Grey's, SVU Stars — Watch

After more than a week of tweeting promotional posters, Taylor Swift unveiled the music video for her song “Bad Blood” on Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards — and it was chock full of big-name TV stars.

Among the cast members were Grey’s Anatomy‘s Ellen Pompeo and Law & Order: SVU‘s Mariska Hargitay (after whose TV characters Swift’s cats are famously named), as well as Girls leading lady Lena Dunham and Disney starlet Zendaya.

In the video — which also featured Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez and Cindy Crawford, to name a few — Swift and her BFFs wielded weapons, walked away from massive explosions and generally kicked a lot of butt. (And, might we add, Swift totally pulled off being a redhead.)

Did Swift’s latest music video live up to the hype? Watch the video above, grade it in our poll, then hit the comments with your reviews.

    omg god bless you

  3. Amanda says:

But where was her actual song? It was like That Random Rapper feat. Taylor Swift.

    Disappointing.

    • Maria says:

Random rapper?!?! Its frakkin’ Kendrick Lamar!!!!

I’m like: “Oh Hi, I’m Taylor Swift – look at all the celebrity friends I have”

We get it Taylor – you’re popular.

    • Carrie says:

The rap took away all my favorite parts of the song!
A shame people are only gonna listen to this version :(

And way too many guest starts for such a short video.
Best part was seeing Lena Dunham, Mariska Hargitay and Hayley Williams.

  4. Dan says:

OMG THAT WAS EVERYTHING IM CRYING the video was amazing u guyz

  5. Olivia says:

Selena Gomez’s credibility as a kickass is… how do I say that diplomatically… ok, that was bad. So bad it’s kinda good, actually. Anyway. So basically what I get from this video is:
    – Taylor Swift likes Toxic, Die Another Day (the music vid I mean), Kill Bill, The 5th Element, Minority Report, Million Dollar Baby, every apocalyptic move ever made and a lot of stuff that I already forgot.
    – Ellen Pompeo and Mariska totally stole the video in like 2 seconds of screentime
    – The song is quite catchy
    – Badass looking females all around, I’m so hft
    – And finally, can Swift give some of her CGI budget to ABC?

  6. ABG. says:

    Needed more Ellen Pompeo.

  7. Gallavich shipper says:

She is WAY too try hard. What on earth is she trying to prove? She squeezes every bit of spontaneity, humour and subtly out of every situation. Tina Fey is needed again right now to just bring her down a notch again. Taylor: Harry Styles dumped you. Now you’ve got another Brit on your arm in the shape of Calvin Harris, get over it!

  8. AddieM says:

Love this music video..amazing I feel I should know some of the faces but I don’t. Loved Ellen & Mariska

  9. AppleJAck says:

    AWESOME!!! except for Lena Dunham
+1 for ‘ Cindy Crawford –> Head Mistress’

  10. Kay says:

That was amazing!!!!! Thank you for posting!!!!

  11. Michelle says:

I bet she could fix some of her problems if she tried discussing them with the people privately, rather than playing victim in the media and using it to her advantage. It’s quite aggravating that she’s made a career out of being a drama queen.

    • Carrie says:

She’s playing the victim in the media and being a drama queen by writing songs about things that have happened to her like every other songwriter does?? She’s not naming names or pointing fingers and she has the right to write a song about someone hurting her or making her feel betrayed. What’s the big deal?

  12. Jo says:

I mean, is it a set up for something else? Was there a point in giving everyone a name if they’re gone a second later? It was kinda boring. It was like a pilot episode of a new series, nothing but the boring stuff you have to sit through in order to understand the rest of the series.

Cindy Crawford has more charisma than the under-30 set in this video does combined. Just another reminder that only a few decades ago you really had to be one in a million just to make it as a model, let alone a singer (the Whitneys, Celines, Mariahs) or an actress (the Meryls, Julias, Sandras). We used to have stars. Real stars … and in one generation we went from those enigmatic, talented real stars to charisma-free reality stars who release their own sex tapes for attention, from real singers with great vocal range to marginally talented pop stars who wouldn’t have made it as backup singers back in the pre-autotune days and from the voluptuous superstar top models to little girls who tend to be way too thin and way too young. Clearly there are exceptions everywhere (the Giseles, the Adeles, the Jessica Chastains) it’s not all bad, sorry if I came off harsh, I guess what I was trying to say is this : I miss the old days…you know, the 90s ?!

  14. Daya says:

I hope someone releases a version that points out each celebrity as they come by, because I only recognized…three or four outside of Taylor.

  15. Tim says:

One of the best aspects of the 1989 album for me was that it embraced pure pop and had no flashy guest rappers. I still love Taylor, and the video was incredibly entertaining, but I’m just a little disappointed in her resorting to add a featured rapper.

  16. phil says:

Uuh, This reminds me of Archie Panjabi & Juliana Margulies feud.

  17. Jay says:

I didn’t see the point of all the celebrities – most of them just walked past the screen and that was it. Why give them character names if they’re not even characters in the story you’re telling? Think it would have been better if they had streamlined the video and told a story like the visually similar Toxic video.

  18. Ryan says:

i love this site, but lately these ads are stopping the music playing on my iphone. Kind of annoying not the end of the world but enough to make me look elsewhere. Please reconsider

  19. Anna says:

I never liked the song, it’s one of my least favourite from the album, so I didn’t enjoy this video as much. It’s cool, sure. It’s got lots of many awesome ladies. But the rap didn’t make it a better song. Still, it looked really neat!

  20. Lori says:

Cindy & Mariska are awesome, they made the video. Gorgeous women goes to show that real women can still catch your eye better than a lil girl….maturity is class.

  21. Sheldon W. says:

    I’d watch that movie!

  22. Mariska Hargitay is ageless. She is more beautiful every day. Just saw the video to see it.

  23. Nouf Al_fahd says:
