Happy 420: TV Tokers From Family Guy, HIMYM and More Celebrate the Holiday

420 Stoner TV Characters

For many people, April 20 is just another blank square on the calendar. For others, it’s a day designed to stop being so square — and start feeling blank.

We’re referring, of course, to 4/20, the official high holiday of stoners all over the world — and it’s safe to say that several TV favorites will be getting in on the festivities.

From South Park‘s Towelie to the titular trio from Workaholics, TVLine has compiled a list of the characters most likely to be raising a glass — or at least an object made of glass — on this special day.

Browse our gallery of small-screen stoners below, then drop a comment: Did your favorites make the cut? Who did we miss?

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

  1. Mr. Tran K says:

The only 420 I wanted to see the most: contestants on The Price is Right that also includes Drew Carey, George Gray the announcer and the models (even if Manuela Arbelaez was “stoned” enough to pull the price tag in a bad way).

  2. Fx says:

Ugh, just as my parents found out that I smoke weed. Mom cried and dad yelled. Happy 4.20 anyways!

  3. Steven says:

Don’t forget all the Gallaghers on Shameless!

  4. BrightLight says:

Each time 4/20 rolls around, I always think of that Family Guy episode “420”. You can actually tell when it’s on Adult Swim because “A Bag of Weed” starts trending on Twitter.

  5. george says:

So long as it’s illegal there’s nothing to celebrate.

  6. colombo says:

I’d like to find out more? I’d care to find out some additional information.

  7. TV Gord says:

I celebrated a day early (to get ready for Mad Men, Secrets and Lies, Revenge, Family Guy and other shows). It made sense for me, though. My family always opened our Christmas gifts before bed on Christmas Eve. :-)
