Sesame Street's Game of Thrones Spoof: Meet the Muppets of Westeros

A choking Joffrey joke? A fire-breathing Muppet? “The monster is blue and full of errors”? Sesame Street‘s latest parody truly reigns supreme over all others.

With less than a week before Game of Thrones‘ Season 5 premiere, the HBO series has been given the spoof treatment, like so many other age-inappropriate dramas before it. Presenting: Game of Chairs.

Posted Monday, the six-minute video stars Grover as “Grover Bluejoy,” who attempts to explain the rules of Musical Chairs — only to be set straight by a Ned Stark-looking Muppet. (Oh, and that joke about Ned not losing his head over the game? Not cool, Grover. Not cool.)

I laughed quite a bit at this (more than anything I’ve seen on SNL over the past few years). I’m also happy whenever I see Grover back in the spotlight!
