Booth and Brennan’s latest case calls upon a little help from… a sassy diner waitress?
Bones has tapped veteran actress Linda Lavin — known for playing the title role in the ’70s sitcom Alice and last seen as Cary’s pre-trial service officer on The Good Wife — to guest-star as a criminal courts judge, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Lavin appears in the episode “The Verdict in the Victims,” in which her character is approached by Booth and Brennan to stop the imminent execution of a condemned killer they believe is innocent.
Lavin recently starred in NBC’s short-lived comedy Sean Saves the World. She has also guested on The O.C. and The Sopranos.
Bones returns with new episodes on Thursday, March 26, at 8/7c.
