In the first promo for ABC’s midseason thriller Secrets and Lies, Phillippe’s character, Good Samaritan Ben Crawford, discovers the dead body of a local kid — and instantly becomes the prime suspect.

While the clip strongly suggests that Ben is innocent of Tom’s death, the lead detective — played by Juliette Lewis — clearly is not buying the story he’s selling.
