NBC’s Taxi Brooklyn this Wednesday night drew 5.5 million total viewers, up 25 percent week-to-week to hit a series high (pending adjustments).

In the demo, the freshman drama did a 0.9, up 29 percent to match a 5-week high. Will it join Night Shift and Welcome to Sweden in NBC’s Summer Show Renewal Club?

Leading into Taxi Brooklyn, America’s Got Talent (10.1 mil/1.9) added some eyeballs and a tenth in the demo, topping the night on both counts with 4-week highs.

CBS | Big Brother (6.5 mil/2.2) dipped 6 percent and a tenth week-to-week, while Extant (5.8 mil/1.0) held steady.

FOX | So You Think You Can Dance (4.1 mil/1.3) was up 11 and 18 percent, and down just 7 percent and a tenth from last summer’s finale.
