Video: Good Wife's Christine Baranski on Diane Joining 'Funky' Florrick-Agos

Like the lawyer she plays on TV, The Good Wife‘s Christine Baranski chose her words carefully when Michael Ausiello asked her about the CBS drama’s upcoming sixth season — specifically, whether her character actually will make the leap to Alicia and Cary’s new firm.

“It’s pretty funny to imagine Diane Lockhart with her fabulous outfits and her handbag and her whole thing going to that funky, loft-like space and feeling kinda comfortable with it,” the actress said with a coy smile.

Also of note during Baranski’s red carpet chat at this year’s Emmys: the possibility of Gary Cole’s (Veep) return as Diane’s hubby, Kurt; the “good news and bad news” about the series’ stellar fifth season; and the bouquets she throws at the feet of The Good Wife‘s writing staff, who turned in (yet weren’t nominated for) a “bravura season of writing.”
