Allison Janney will be the first to admit she’s enjoying “an embarassment of riches” when it comes to her current TV roles.
The two-time Emmy winner in 2014 — as Supporting Actress in a Comedy for Mom, and Guest Actress in a Drama Series for Masters of Sex — caught up with TVLine’s Michael Ausiello on the 2014 Emmys red carpet to discuss her completely divergent series.
Janney, who is four episodes in to shooting Season 2 of her CBS comedy, teased a serious/funny arc that finds Bonnie, Christy & Co. homeless and “living in strange places.”

The actress also discussed a pivotal sex scene from Masters with her on-screen husband Beau Bridges — and hinted that Margaret might return in Season 3 in “a really empowering way.”
