Ratings: ABC's Robin Williams Special Draws a Crowd, But Tails Talent

ABC’s special edition of 20/20 recounting the life and death of Robin Williams drew 7.2 million total viewers — Tuesday’s third-largest audience (behind America’s Got Talent and an NCIS rerun) — and a 1.7 demo rating, trailing only AGT.

Opening ABC’s night, Extreme Weight Loss (4 mil/1.1) added a few eyeballs (to hit a 10-week high) yet was flat in the demo versus its previous outing.

Over on NBC, Food Fighters (4.4 mil/1.1) dipped a tenth, and the aforementioned AGT (9.6 mil/2.0) rose 7 percent in audience while flat in the demo.

New Girl is worst comedy during Tuesday nights’ summer reruns, so far. Arrow is the worst show during Tuesday nights’ summer reruns overall.

I watched season 1 of Arrow on Netflix and was really glad that CW has been re-airing the second season during the summer (since it’s not on Netflix yet) and I’ve really been enjoying it. It’s gotten really good.
