TV Quotes of the Week August 10, 2014

Summer is usually the off-season for DVRs around the country, but here at TVLine, ours are still working overtime to capture the best TV moments.

To that end, we present TVLine’s Quotes of the Week, a collection of zingers, bon mots and retorts from the last seven days on the telly.

RELATED  Who Is TVLine’s Performer of the Week?

This time around, we’ve got an Orphan Black reference on General Hospital, a sassy Miss Piggy moment on The View, some not-so-sexual tension on Married, double doses of The Strain and Suits and much more.

So CLICK HERE for the latest batch of honorees (or just click on the gallery widget below), then hit the comments to weigh in on your faves — and add anything we’ve inevitably missed!

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

Major Crimes made the list! It was a funny quote! :)

    • DL says:

TNT’s new slogan makes me shake my head. Bring back “We know drama.” Or come up with something else. Anything but “Boom!” I mean, really.
On topic, Major Crimes was awesome as usual. I love Sykes; she fits right in with the rest of the team and has great rapport with Provenza, Flynn, and co.

    • Michelle says:

      Nickiminaj is perfetly hot

  2. Yunuem says:

    Nothing on The Killing? ……

  3. Pat says:

Everyweek there is always a funny quote, to be found on Major Crimes. Also, I stopped watching the VIEW but if they put Miss Piggy on as a regular, I might go back.

  4. jalahyacinth says:

Thank you for putting the slideshow back IN the article. Woohoo!

  5. csbd says:

I absolutely loved the GH homage to Orphan Black. Soap operas used to exist in an almost alternate universe where they never referenced “real” pop culture and events, but GH has really started adding in a lot of real references lately which are always used appropriately for comedy.

  6. KCC says:

    YAY! GH made the list!

  7. Dan the critic says:

You forgot Adam Baldwin’s “Two sailors walk into a bar” speech on “The Last Ship”.
