HBO Announces Premiere Dates for True Blood's Final Season, Damon Lindelof's The Leftovers

That’s when the HBO vampire drama’s 10-episode concluding season will premiere, the cabler announced Thursday.

True Blood‘s seventh go-around will feature new cast members Riley Smith (90210) as a brooding undead dude named Keith and Nathan Parsons (General Hospital) filling the role of James, which Luke Grimes exited after the Season 6 finale.

In related news, Lost boss Damon Lindelof’s Rapture-esque drama The Leftovers will bow a week earlier, on Sunday, June 15, at 10/9c.

Based on Tom Perrotta’s best-selling novel, The Leftovers revolves around what happens when two percent of the world’s population disappears without explanation. Its cast includes Amy Brenneman (Private Practice), Justin Theroux (Six Feet Under), Liv Tyler (The Lord of the Rings) and Chris Zylka (The Secret Circle).
