I see heartbreak in Max’s future.
Eric André, who’s currently recurring on 2 Broke Girls as the boyfriend of Kat Dennings’ cash-strapped waitress, is joining FX’s Jay Baruchel-fronted comedy pilot Man Seeking Woman as a series regular, TVLine has learned.

The potential series, created by Saturday Night Live scribe Simon Rich, centers on Baruchel’s Josh Greenberg, a naive romantic on a desperate quest for love. André (whose credits include ABC’s late, great Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23 and Adult Swim’s The Eric André Show) will play Josh’s cocky best friend, Mike.
Additionally, Britt Lower (Unforgettable) and Maya Erskine (Betas) have also come on board as Josh’s intimidating sister, Liz, and ex-girlfriend, Maggie, respectively.
