Pilot News: Dallas' Judith Light and Daily Show's Jason Jones Are Among the Latest Castings

* Light, also known for her work on Ugly Betty and Who’s the Boss?, has boarded the ABC’s The Winklers. Light will play Henry Winkler’s on-screen wife Tita in the comedy pilot.

* Kaufman (Without a Trace) has been tapped to star in NBC’s drama pilot State of Affairs, which follows a CIA attaché (Katherine Heigl) who counsels the President of United States. Kaufman will play Lucas Wright, a CIA analyst on the President’s daily debriefing team.

* Ashton Holmes (Revenge) has been cast in CBS’ untitled medical drama from Brothers & Sisters‘ David Marshall Grant. Holmes will play Gary, the smartest of the series’ medically inclined quadruplets, who ends his globetrotting after a near-death experience.

* Kevin Rahm (Mad Men) will play Paul Jordan, the dad of a high school quarterback, in CBS’ terrorism drama Red Zone.

* Jones (The Daily Show) will star opposite Leslie Bibb in NBC’s comedy pilot Love Is Relative, the story of a married couple forced to take in the wife’s brother after his sudden divorce, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jones will play the husband, Nate, who envies his brother-in-law’s new bachelor lifestyle.
