From 8 to 11 pm, the event averaged 31.7 million total viewers and an 8.6 demo rating.

Going up against the Olympics celebration, Fox’s Enlisted (1.8 mil/0.7) fell 30 percent in viewers yet only ticked down one tenth in the demo, while Raising Hope (1.7 mil/0.6) dipped 8 percent in audience but held steady in the demo.
Turning to late night: Jimmy Fallon‘s final Late Night set a franchise record in metered-market households, averaging a 4.8 rating, 13 share in households — more than tripling the show’s season average.
