My Name Is Earl alum Jaime Pressly has landed the lead in TV Land’s new half-hour comedy pilot, Jennifer Falls.
The multi-camera project follows Pressly’s character, Jennifer Doyle, a smart and successful mom businesswoman whose biggest liability is her temper — which has just gotten her fired from her high-paying job.

Drowning in debt and having lost everything, Jennifer and her teenage daughter move in with her mother. The former career woman then takes a job as a waitress at her brother’s bar and reconnects with friends from her youth.
Matthew Carlson (The Wonder Years, Malcolm in the Middle) wrote, created and will executive-produce the pilot with Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis (Reba, The Exes).
In addition to four seasons as Earl‘s Joy, Pressly’s TV credits include I Hate My Teenage Daughter, Jack & Jill, Rules of Engagement and Raising Hope. Most recently, she had a multi-episode arc as Jake’s cougar girlfriend on Two and a Half Men and guest-voiced a character on Disney Channel’s Phineas and Ferb.
