Sleepy Hollow Stars Say Legend-ary Twist Means Fewer Rules, Weigh In on the Starbucks Slip-Up

The fact that Ichabod Crane is just another name — and not a famous, fictional character — is a boon, not a burden, for Fox’s Sleepy Hollow (premiering Monday, Sept. 16 at 9/8c).

As series leads Tom Mison (Salmon Fishing in the Yemen) and Nicole Beharie (42) explained to Michael Ausiello in TVLine’s Comic-Con suite, the decision to omit The Legend of Sleepy Hollow from this TV adaptation will “keep everyone on their toes” in the name of “defying expectations.” That without an established narrative to mind, There aren’t many rules” for the TV series to adhere to.
