Orphan Black Cast Talks Tatiana Maslany Emmy Snub, New Clones, Felix/Paul Sexual Tension

The Orphan Black team is “feeling loved, not snubbed,” to quote a recent tweet, despite series lead Tatiana Maslany coming away from this year’s Emmy nominations empty-handed.

And hopefully that love will serve to bolster the audience for BBC America’s rollicking drama about “genetic identicals,” seven of whom to date have been played by Maslany.

“It is nice that our show gets more publicity out of [the snub],” the actress shared with Michael Ausiello in TVLine’s Comic-Con interview suite. “Hopefully people go like, ‘Oh, who are they talking about…?'”

Plus to date, the series has enjoyed “insane support” from fan groups such as The Clone Club and The Clonesbians, says Jordan Gavaris (aka Felix).

Also in this video Q&A: Dylan Bruce weighs in on the PG and X-rated nicknames for his character, as well as ponders Paul’s end-of-season status; the trio mull the idea of Felix having a clone (perhaps a butch military bud of Paul’s?); and, yes, the topic of Felix/Paul sexual tension arises, leading Gavaris to tease a Season 6 wedding. (But what role would Helena play in the ceremony? Watch the video to find out!)
