Portlandia has celebrated sustainable local agriculture, underemployment, avian crafting, gender politics, intense bicycle messengers and so much more,” IFC president Jennifer Caserta said in announcing the double-dip pick-up. “We can now celebrate two more seasons.”

Created/written by and starring Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, Portlandia wrapped Season 3 this past March.

Loved season 1. Brilliant so funny but the same as sunny in philly it got..um..stale or lazy. Fred there are plenty more duchey type people. Mma posers, crappy I.T. guys, overzealous volunteer, audio installers, sign spinners, weed experts never get old. Just get high have someone drive you around and be honest like season 1. Best luck looking forward to enjoying your work.

  5. Paula says:

That’s wonderful. Congrats, Fred and Carrie! I’ll be tuning in for sure.
