After two low-rated outings, The CW’s Cult has been snapped right off of its Tuesday perch and shuttled to Fridays, where it will lead out of Nikita — and pit Billy Grimm against NBC’s soon-to-return Grimm — the network announced on Wednesday.
Taking over the Tuesdays-at-9 time slot will be CW encores, starting with a Beauty and the Beast repeat on March 5.
Cult, starring Matt Davis, Robert Knepper, Alona Tal and Jessica Lucas, premiered to 860,000 viewers and a 0.3 demo rating on Feb. 19. In its second outing, it showed precious little improvement, save for a few more viewers.
