Christmas will come early this year for one of The Voice‘s quartet of coaches: NBC announced today that the reality singing competition’s Season 3 finale will take place over two nights — Dec. 17 and 18.
To be more specific, the live, 90-minute performance finale will air Monday (8/7c), followed by a sneak preview of NBC’s new sitcom 1600 Penn, starring Bill Pullman and Jenna Elfman.
The Voice‘s live two-hour results finale is set for the following night (9/8c), at which time one of the recently named Top 12 vocalists will be declared the Season 3 champ. (Leading up to the finale, the lowest two vote-getters will be sent home each week, regardless of which team they’re on.)
