Pilot Scoop: Army Wives' Brigid Brannagh Checks Into NBC's Medical Drama After Hours

Army Wives actress Brigid Brannagh has joined the cast of NBC’s medical drama pilot After Hours, TVLine has learned.

The project — which also stars Six Feet Under‘s Freddy Rodriguez, Roswell‘s Brendan Fehr, Lost‘s Ken Leung and Alcatraz‘s Jeananne Goossen — follows a team of doctors and nurses working the graveyard shift in the ER at San Antonio Medical Center.

Brannagh will play Althea Martin, a recently widowed “Country Club-type” who is easing back into her old job as a trauma doctor. Fearful of doing anything overly stressful, she is told in no uncertain terms that it’s time for her to pull her weight and take on some cases solo.

Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah (Freaks and Geeks, 90210) wrote the pilot and will serve as exec producers.
