New Girl‘s Jess is getting a new love in Season 2 — and he’s played by Bent alum David Walton. But that’s not the only new-yet-familiar face en route to the Fox comedy.
Fresh off of his short-lived NBC series, Walton has been tapped to recur on New Girl as the “classic bad boy type,” EW.com reports. He and Jess will hit it off in the premiere (airing Sept. 25) when he mistakes her for someone else, and, being the quirkster that she is, she decides to go along with it.

Also dropping by New Girl‘s sophomore run are Knocked Up‘s Leslie Mann and Reno 911! vet Niecy Nash.
Per EW.com, Mann appears in the season opener as well, playing a “shot girl” at Schmidt’s penis cast removal soiree. (This is an actual storyline.) Nash, meanwhile, is slated to guest-star in an early installment of Season 2 as a hooker who steal’s Jess’ purse, per The Hollywood Reporter.
