Will Sasso is bringing his MAD comedy skills to TBS’ new sitcom Sullivan & Son, TVLine has learned exclusively.
From executive producers Vince Vaughn (Wedding Crashers), Peter Billingsley (A Christmas Story) and Rob Long (Cheers), S&S centers on Steve, a successful attorney (played by comedian Steve Byrne) who gives up his swanky New York lifestyle to run his parents’ Pittsburgh pub.

Sasso — who earlier this year starred in the big-screen Three Stooges reboot, and boasts an extensive list of TV credits that includes MADtv, $h*! My Dad Says, How I Met Your Mother and Less Than Perfect — will guest star as an air traffic controller suing his coworker, Hank (Brian Doyle-Murray), for being racist. As such, Steve is forced to put his lawyer cap back on to represent Hank.
Sullivan & Sons — which also co-stars Dan Lauria (The Wonder Years), Christine Ebersole (Royal Pains) and Valerie Azlynn (The Joe Schmo Show) — premieres Thursday, July 19, at 10/9c.
