CBS’ Undercover Boss, with 13.1 million total viewers and a 3.0 demo rating, came out of hiding this Sunday by surging 41 and 30 percent, respectively, and commanding the largest audience for regularly scheduled fare. The series also enjoyed its biggest audience since Jan. 16 of last year.
ABC’s Once Upon a Time, meanwhile, copped regular programming’s best demo rating (with a 3.4, up 6 percent) and drew its largest audience since Nov. 13 (10.8 mil, up 16 percent).
Also on the upside this week was The Good Wife (11 mil/2.2), rising 16 and 10 percent.
Truly scrutable numbers for NBC’s broadcast of the NFL Pro Bowl will trickle in later, but the game thus far is down 18 percent from 2011, per the fast national ratings.
* Fox’s The Simpsons (5.1 mil/2.4) was up a bit from its last “normal” outing, while Napoleon Dynamite (4.43 mil/2.1) demonstrated stronger retention in its second broadcast. Family Guy (5.9 mil/3.0) dipped just a bit, but American Dad (4.8 mil/2.4) was up two tenths in the demo.
* ABC’s A Smile as Big as the Moon averaged 6.9 million total viewers and a 1.5 rating, placing third, at best, in every half hour.
* CSI: Miami (10.5 mil/2.2) was steady in total viewers but dropepd 15 percent in the demo.
Cable ratings (SAG Awards, etc;), it goes without reminding, won’t be in until much later or Tuesday. What were you tuned into on Sunday?
