Ready for more of today’s TV dish? Well…

• FX has trimmed down American Horror Story’s first season finale (airing Wednesday, Dec. 21), making the two-hour episode a 90-minute installment due to a “very aggressive production schedule,” per Deadline.

• Kelly Overton (All My Children, Three Rivers) and Louis Herthum (Murder, She Wrote) have landed recurring roles on True Blood‘s upcoming fifth season, Deadline reports. Overton will play Rikki, a “dirty, beautiful werewolf” looking for her former packmaster, while Herthum will play a Marine-like were.

• Glee is going country. According to Fox411, the musical dramedy will perform Toby Keith’s silly new song “Red Solo Cup” in a December episode.

• The Ricki Lake Show — not to be confused with the classic talkfest Ricki Lake — is slated to bow in Sept. 2012.
