TVLine Items: Project Runway's All-Star Plan, A Pretty Little Preview, and More TV News to Know

Project Runway returns this summer for a ninth season, but that’s not the big news: Lifetime’s designer-drama competition is putting together an all-star edition.

Back in 2009, Runway ran a two-hour All-Stars special. However, this time around the best of the best are getting another stab at the top prize via their very own eight-episode season. No word yet on which former contestants will be returning.

Lifetime also has another Runway spinoff on the way, titled Project Accessory, about — you guessed it — accessories!

• Just a few more weeks until Pretty Little Liars‘ second season premieres on ABC Family (Tuesday, June 14, to be exact), but New York Post’s PopWrap has a sneak peek to tide you over. Check out the girls in therapy with their new doctor, played by guest star Annabeth Gish (The West Wing).

• MTV has revealed that its original Teen Mom castmembers — Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell, Farrah Abraham and Maci Bookout — will be returning for the docu-series’ third season, premiering July 5. Additionally, the cabler has renewed Mom for a fourth season.

• Famous rocker Ted Nugent is going all Donald Trump and throwing his hat in the presidential ring — on The Simpsons. EW.com reports that Nugent will lend his voice to the animated Fox staple next season, playing himself — albeit his “Republican candidate for president who seeks Homer’s endorsement”-self.

Survivor creator Marc Burnett has been tapped to produce the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmys, airing September 18 on Fox.
