Natalie Zea has landed a role in a J.J. Abrams pilot for the 2011-12 TV season. (No, not Alcatraz — the other one.) But what does this mean for the future of Justified‘s Winona on the just-renewed FX hit?
In a word: nothing. TVLine spoke with Zea at FX’s upfront soiree Tuesday night, and she assured us that her involvement with the CBS pilot Person of Interest is strictly a one-time guest spot in the pilot. Per TVGuide.com, which broke the casting news, Zea will play a District Attorney whose life in endangered when she gets too close to a case.

• Nancy Travis (The Bill Engvall Show) is set to play the no-nonsense wife to Tim Allen’s gender-minded leading man the Home Improvement vet’s new ABC comedy pilot. Travis also scored a guest-starring/recurring role in The CW’s Hart of Dixie, starring Rachel Bilson (The O.C.) and Scott Porter (The Good Wife).
