TVLine Items: LUX Star Joins The CW's Circle, Fringe Fan Alert, and Other TV News to Know

Life Unexpected’s breakout star has been cast in The CW’s much-talked about pilot The Secret Circle. Robertson’s new gig is theoretically in second position to LUX, of course, should it receive that long shot of a third season order. The buzz surrounding Circle has increased over the past few weeks due in large part to the addition of Vampire Diaries boss Kevin Williamson as executive producer, per EW.com.

Ready to know what else is happening in TV today? Well…

Fringe‘s Joshua Jackson is encouraging fans via an EW.com interview to “start a campaign” to save the show. “I’m a positive person in general, but we really need our Fringe fans to tune in and watch us on Fridays,” the star urged.

• OWN is adding two original series to its lineup this spring with The Judds and Addicted to Food. The Judds, premiering Sunday, April 10, will follow the country music superstars on their reunion tour, while Addicted to Food, making its debut Tuesday, March 29, focuses on eight patients in an eating disorder clinic.

• Spoiler Alert! Following her dramatic Law & Order: SVU exit last Tuesday, Christine Lahti is heading back to her medical roots in CBS’ pilot, The Doctor, per Deadline.
