  4. Julia says:

I quit Halt and Catch Fire after two episodes. For those still watching, has it gotten any better?

    • Pat says:

It has. I found myself really wanting to get into the show, but after a few episodes I became unenthusiastic. I got caught up today and have found the quality to have improved dramatically, and I think took 5 episodes before the characters became sufficiently complex, and then I was hooked. I don’t want to make comparisons beyond that, but I think this show requires about the same initial investment.

      • Pat says:

Err, I meant to say that in retrospect, I think I had to watch 5 episodes of Mad Men before I was hooked, and I think this show takes about the same.

  5. Jenna says:

I will check out The Lottery.

It’s embarrassing how much TV we watch on Sunday. It takes us all week to watch it all.

    • jordan says:

That is embarrassing. 13 TV shows in one night?

      • meleliot says:

Well, like I said, we don’t watch them ALL in one night. That’s what the DVR is for. My point was, Sunday night programming is pretty much all the shows we watch, so that’s two a night with an evening out on Friday or Saturday. We pay a pretty penny for cable so we definitely would feel pretty stupid not watching at least that many a week.

    • Mia says:

The networks are in league with our cable providers, making sure we get dvr with the package.

  8. Jana says:
