This is one of the awards that Hollywood gives out that is great because the fans let the networks know who and what they really want to watch. The question I have is this a good thing or a bad thing for the actor or actress who wins a PCA? For example lets take last years awards, a lead actress won three of these awards in three different seasos, one last year and the lead actor won two, one last year. This was in a 7 season time frame, so we know fans liked them both and loved the story line in that 7 seasons. They had between 10 and 6 million viewers per episode, not bad numbers. The show bosses in season 8 had a bad story line , that was nothing less than a dumpster fire. Show rating went down, lead actress gets fired and the show was canceled. Even after the fans voted her three PCA wards. Going back to the question it looks like it was a bad thing for her, or did the network just not want to pay her what she was worth. I voted for my chooses for this year and I almost hope they lose, I like watching them
