How is Houdini & Doyle doing, ratings wise?

I’m actually going to miss Houdini and Doyle. The show wasn’t the greatest but I thought the two male leads were great together.

The husband and I watch it because the husband’s fond of Doyle (and I love both of the actors!). He liked Doyle’s metaphysical interests and enjoys Doyle’s comebacks to Houdini’s doubting and sarcasms. He never read Sherlock Holmes, while I read every story at age 18 (inhaled them after reading one sentence), and I am totally absorbed in all the nuances about the public wanting the stories to return. And the mysteries are fun too. The bottom line is that this show has lots of hooks for viewers, if the suits will only give it some more U.S. viewing time.

DVRing Yankee Doodle Dandy since it doesn’t come on TCM until 10:45 tonight. Not caught up on Houdini & Doyle yet. Nothing else live I’m interested in tonight that might ease the dread over returning to work tomorrow. Ugh. ☹️
