On TV this Thursday: An NBA showdown tips off, Hollywood Game Night goes behind bars, Gang Related faces another tough call and Comedy Bang! Bang! has a Zach attack. Here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.
NBA Finals, Game Night Turns Orange and More
Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night
In this annual series of pre-game specials, catch basketball editions of popular Kimmel bits (like “Mean Tweets” and “Lie Witness News”) along with an impressive roster of guests, including Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother) and Mila Kunis (That ’70s Show).
Both teams must create a menu of dishes they will be serving during the dinner service, with guests having the option of ordering either team’s menus — or better yet, going to the restaurant next door.
Hollywood Game Night
Jenna Fischer (The Office), Darren Criss (Glee) and Mario Lopez (Saved By the Bell) take on Orange Is the New Black‘s Laura Prepon, Jason Biggs and Natasha Lyonne. (Hopefully none of the games include “Get Out Of Jail Free” cards!)
The Big Bang Theory
Repeat to Revisit: While Sheldon is away in Texas, everyone imagines what their lives would be like had they never met the gangly geek.
Things are heating up down south as the San Antonio Spurs face the Miami Heat in Game 1!
When the Gang Task Force is ambushed en route to delivering a Colombian snitch to Federal Court to testify, Ryan must choose between his loyalty to the cops and revealing the snitch’s location to help Javier go legit.
Justin and Danny’s relationship is put to the test when Nicki (guest star Briga Heelan) reveals she has feelings for the latter. Then at 9:30, it’s Justin doling out the advice when Danny discovers that he’s “in like” with a girl (guest star Eva Amurri Martino, Californication).
The Carbonaro Effect
An otherwise light box mysterious becomes heavy in a sporting goods store; Michael poses as a barista for a glass illusion.
Last Comic Standing
It’s the final round of invitationals and the judges have to decide which of the remaining contestants will become semi-finalists. Hey, at least the rejected comics will have something to laugh about.
Comedy Bang! Bang!
Flash to the future with the show’s “final” episode featuring Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) as the guest. Characters from past seasons return to say goodbye and resolve ongoing storylines — not to mention a surprise wedding! Special guests Paul F. Tompkins (Anchorman) and Rilo Kiley’s lead vocalist Jenny Lewis stop by as well.
