Tina and Amy's Globes Threepeat, Girls, Shameless, Looking and 3 Other Premieres and More

72nd Golden Globe Awards

On TV this Sunday: Our fave gal pals host the Golden Globes; Girls, Shameless, Looking and more favorites return; Togetherness moves into HBO’s lineup; and The Good Wife gets her debate on. Here are 14 programs to keep on your radar.

  • NBC
    72nd Golden Globe Awards

Live from Los Angeles’ Beverly Hilton Hotel, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler lead the ceremony for a third time. More George Clooney jokes, please! (Read Michael Ausiello’s predictions.)

  • ABC
    Galavant

First up, a visit to Sid’s hometown reveals he hasn’t been truthful about his career. Then, an encounter with land-bound pirates (led by Downton Abbey‘s Hugh Bonneville) forces Galavant & Co. to work together.

  • Fox
    The Simpsons

In an episode penned by Judd Apatow (almost 25 years ago!), Homer is hypnotized to believe he is a young boy again, leading him to be Bart’s new best friend.

  • TNT
    The Librarians

In back-to-back episodes, the librarians encounter high schoolers who undercut each other with witchcraft, and the house behind the legend of all haunted houses.

  • HBO
    Girls

Season 4 premiere: Hannah and Adam discuss “the plan” for their soon-to-be long-distance relationship; Shoshanna’s parents (Suburgatory‘s Ana Gasteyer and ER‘s Anthony Edwards) make a bigger deal out of her diploma signing than she thinks necessary.

  • Showtime
    Shameless

Season 5 premiere: Fiona juggles her job at Patsy’s Pies (and a crush on her older boss), Lip returns home and Frank continues recovering from his transplant.

  • PBS
    Downton Abbey

As the Downton staff cleans up after the fire, a suave upper-class art historian arrives to view a picture — and flirts with Cora.

  • HBO
    Togetherness

Series premiere: From Jay and Mark Duplass (aka The Mindy Project’s Deslaurier brothers), this comedy centers on the faltering marriage of Brett (Mark Duplass) and Michelle (Melanie Lynskey, Two and a Half Men). Amanda Peet (The Good Wife) and Steve Zissis (Parks and Recreation) also star.

  • Fox
    Bob's Burgers

Bob and Teddy partner to serve Teddy’s home-brewed beer on the sly; Tina, Gene and Louise join a go-kart league. (Watch a sneak peek, get good news!)

  • Showtime
    House of Lies

Season 4 premiere: Ready to conquer the consulting world, Marty lays down the law to a pregnant Jeannie — nicely, I hope — on her future with the company.

  • HBO
    Looking

Season 2 premiere: Patrick, Agustín and Dom head to Russian River to stay at Lynn’s weekend cabin for relaxation.

  • CBS
    The Good Wife

Alicia and Frank Prady square off in the State’s Attorney debate, while Peter and the city of Chicago prepare for a potential riot.

  • ABC
    Revenge

David finally decides to settle his debt to Victoria, and Emily helps Nolan with a takedown of his own. (Watch a sneak peek, see photos.)

  • Showtime
    Episodes

Season 4 premiere: While Matt gets bad news about his finances, Sean and Beverly are dragged back to Los Angeles to make more Pucks!

This years Golden Globes gets better as it did the last two years. With Tina Fey and Any Poehler hosting for the third year in a row .
The Cosby joke put it over the top just a little.
In the winners category for tv movie / miniseries should have gone to: The Normal Heart., it was truly a heart warming tv movie. I think Mark Ruffalo should have won he’ s a great actor. Billy Bob Thornton winning was no a favorite.
The man hardly goes out or is seen in public. I was happy that Maggie Jyllenhaal won for honorable woman.
Best tv drama series should have been –
House of cards. The comedy series -Transparent not a favorite. A comedy show about transgender , like we don’t already know about gays and lesbians.
I think the Theory of Everything should have won best picture drama. Oh , and Margaret Cho as Kim Jong 111 , really stupid and sick . She’ a fat cow .
    What a porker !
Alot of dresses showing cleavage ,
