The Big C‘s fourth and final season has yet to secure a premiere date, but it has obtained a brand-new name.

Titled The Big C: hereafter, the four-episode event will conclude the story of Laura Linney’s cancer-battling Cathy and those who have stood by her side over the past three seasons. It will also introduce two new characters in guest stars Kathy Najimy and Isaac Mizrahi, Showtime announced Thursday. READ MORE

Ausiello: Yes, but not anytime soon. “I can’t see a wedding happening this season,” says executive producer Stephen Nathan. “At some point I think there has to be [one]. But there are going to be so many problems they’ll have to deal with before that, like how their work is affected by this baby — and it’s going to be affected a lot.” (BTW, Nathan would neither confirm nor deny rumors that Brennan gives birth in a stable.)
