Ratings: Private Practice, Glee Rebound, Cougar Town Inches Up, L.A. Complex DOA


It appears Private Practice fans finally got the memo about the show’s new timeslot.

In its second Tuesday outing, the Grey’s spinoff drew 8.3 million viewers and a 2.2 demo rating — a 29 percent jump over last week. Even more impressive, it stands as PPP‘s most-watched telecast in 18 months.

Ratings: Bones, House, Smash Up, Gossip Girl Down, HBO's Veep Off to Decent Start


With CBS in repeat mode, NBC, Fox and ABC posted across-the-board increases on Monday.

On Fox, Bones saw a slight week-to-week uptick in total viewers and the demo (7 million, 2.2 rating), while House  added a million viewers (to 6.6 mil) and jumped three tenths in the demo (to 2.3) for an episode that revealed [SPOILER]. READ MORE

Ratings: Once Upon a Time Inches Up, NYC 22 Slips, Fox's 25th Bash Poorly Attended


A meager 4.3 million revelers turned out for Fox’s two-hour 25th Anniversary bash Sunday night, giving the network a rare last place finish among viewers. In the demo, the special averaged a 1.8 rating.

Encores of the Married With Children and Simpsons pilots that preceded the soiree drew roughly 3 mil and a 1.3 and 1.5 respectively.

Ratings: Dancing's Grand Finale Trips Up, NCIS Down, Parenthood Steady


Dancing With the Stars ended its 13th cycle on a down note.

Tuesday’s two-hour finale — which saw J.R. Martinez waltz off with the mirror ball trophy — averaged 19.5 million viewers and a 4.1 rating in the 18-49 demo. That represents a steep 20 percent decline from last year’s fall finale (featuring champ Jennifer Grey champ.) READ MORE

CBS’s Live To Dance, featuring Idol alum Paula Abdul, got off on the right foot in its Tuesday debut, topping both the 8 and 9 o’clock hours in total viewers (with an average of 10.23 million).

The Biggest Loser: Couples, however, stepped on Paula’s toes by dominating the demos with its own two-hour premiere — despite dropping 25 percent (8.74 million total viewers) from its year-ago opener.
