Ratings: Private Practice, Glee Rebound, Cougar Town Inches Up, L.A. Complex DOA

It appears Private Practice fans finally got the memo about the show’s new timeslot.

In its second Tuesday outing, the Grey’s spinoff drew 8.3 million viewers and a 2.2 demo rating — a 29 percent jump over last week. Even more impressive, it stands as PPP‘s most-watched telecast in 18 months.

A meager 4.3 million revelers turned out for Fox’s two-hour 25th Anniversary bash Sunday night, giving the network a rare last place finish among viewers. In the demo, the special averaged a 1.8 rating.

Ratings: Dancing's Grand Finale Trips Up, NCIS Down, Parenthood Steady

Dancing With the Stars ended its 13th cycle on a down note.

CBS’s Live To Dance, featuring Idol alum Paula Abdul, got off on the right foot in its Tuesday debut, topping both the 8 and 9 o’clock hours in total viewers (with an average of 10.23 million).

The Biggest Loser: Couples, however, stepped on Paula’s toes by dominating the demos with its own two-hour premiere — despite dropping 25 percent (8.74 million total viewers) from its year-ago opener.
