With just a few days remaining between now and Smallville‘s two-hour series finale (Friday at 8/7c), the showrunners behind The CW’s superhero epic took some time on Tuesday to talk to reporters about what to expect when all is said and done. Hot Shots: Smallville Series Finale Sneak Peek!

Michael Rosenbaum coming back for 'Smallville's series finale "was absolutely fantastic, because it was like he never left," Tom Welling shared in an interview for the May issue of CBS Watch! Magazine. "We missed him a lot, that's for sure!"

This Friday at 8/7c, The CW’s Smallville resumes its 10th and final season with a “universe swap” à la the December episode “Luthor.” So, while our Clark (played by Tom Welling) is in alt-Earth doing his best to set straight a distraught (and alive) Jonathan Kent, Clark Luthor once again is on the prowl over “here,” hoping to partner with his (adopted!) sister, Tess, in all sorts of ways.
