Teen Choice Awards: Three Best Moments, Worst Speech, and Full TV Winners List

The Teen Choice Awards is one of those kudos-fests where it really doesn’t matter who wins or loses, and I guess that’s why it seemed strange that Sunday night’s two-hour telecast spent more time focusing on handing out trophies (it seemed like pretty much every hot celebrity under the age of 35, as well as Ellen DeGeneres, got one) and less on musical performances and comedy sketches. Still, the lack of compelling happenings makes it all that much easier to narrow down a list of the evening’s highs and lows. So let’s get to the ceremony that finally gave Linda Hunt a surf board with which to bookend her Oscar (I didn’t make that up, really): …READ MORE

Comic-Con Outtakes: Lucy Lawless, Zach Levi, Joel McHale, Nathan Fillion, Kaley Cuoco & More

You know how the best thing about the end of any TV season is the release of all the shows’ blooper reels? Turns out, that’s also the best thing about the end of Comic-Con. READ MORE & WATCH VIDEO

Big Bang Theory Cast on Emmy Rivalries, Wedding Drama and Sex For Sheldon

The cast of Big Bang Theory is so close-knit that even a professional pot-stirrer like me can’t tear them apart. But dammit if I didn’t give it the old college try when the hit sitcom’s ensemble — including Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar and Melissa Rauch — dropped by TVLine’s interview suite at Comic-Con over the weekend. Teen Choice Awards Choose Kaley Cuoco to Host, Reveal 'Best Vampire' Nominees

The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco has been chosen to host the Teen Choice 2011 awards ceremony, to be broadcast Aug. 7 on Fox.

The show also announced that Selena Gomez and OneRepublic (which, my square self has been informed, is not the clothing chain) have been added to the slate of musical guests.

And in its final bit of housekeeping, Teen Choice 2011 revealed the contenders for “Choice Vampire.” And they are… READ MORE

"The Prestidigitation Approximation" -- Leonard (Johnny Galecki, right) must choose between new girlfriend Priya and his friendship with Penny (Kaley Cuoco, left). When last we geeked out with CBS’ The Big Bang Theory, Leonard watched Penny do the Walk of Shame — away from his own bedroom, in fact, where she had comically (and very drunkenly) slept with Raj.

Though that unlikely coupling isn’t by any means a keeper, things will nonetheless be quite complicated for Leonard and Penny when Season 5 arrives this fall — and TVLine has the scoop on what’s to come. READ MORE

Rob Lowe Cast as Suspected Wife-Killer Drew Peterson: Too Pretty To Play Ugly?

Lifetime has tapped Rob Lowe (Parks and Recreation) to star as Drew Peterson in an original movie about onetime Chicago-area police sergeant who in May 2009 was charged with the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, after authorities investigated the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy.

Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) will play … READ MORE

Emmys 2011: A Look at the Lead Comedy Actress Race — Including Our Dream Nominees

When it comes to the Emmy Awards, there’s no counting out 30 Rock’s Tina Fey. Ever. In 50 years, she’ll be Betty White. But this year’s Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series competition may be all about Showtime and its three show-stopping leading ladies. Will the Academy prescribe a consecutive win for Nurse Jackie’s Edie Falco, or will Toni Collette grab a second statue to go with Tara’s multiple personalities? Or could they and The Big C’s Laura Linney split the pay cable vote, leaving an opening for someone new, like Raising Hope’s Martha Plimpton? REVIEW CONTENDERS & VOTE

Kaley Cuoco On Her Scary Fall, Penny's Big Bang Cold Streak and a Shaken 'Groove Thing'

It’s been a half-year of frightening downs and invigorating ups for Kaley Cuoco. Last September, she was injured in a horseback riding accident that left her with a leg so broken it took 18 pins to repair. But then, after amazingly missing just two episodes of The Big Bang Theory, she resumed work on a season of the CBS hit comedy that has been one of her richest ones yet, as Penny’s social circle expanded beyond those rather square guys to fold in gal pals Bernadette and Amy.

On the eve of her big-screen comedy Hop bounding into theaters, Cuoco spoke with TVLine about rebounding from her September setback, her Big Bang character’s evolution (and remarkably lousy sex life!), and the surprising someone who shakes his “groove thing” in this Thursday’s episode. READ MORE

Johnny Galecki Sizes Up His New Big Bang Romance: Has Leonard Given Up on Penny?

"The Loobenfeld Decay" -- After hearing Penny (Kaley Cuoco, pictured right) sing, Leonard (Johnny Galecki, left) lies to avoid seeing her perform, but Sheldon (Jim Parsons, not pictured)takes it one step further with a more elaborate lie that leads to the appearance of his non-existent cousin (Guest star D.J. Qualls, not pictured), on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday March 24,(8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

CBS’ The Big Bang Theory (Thursdays at 8/7c) this season is big on romance – or, at least, um, close relationships between members of the opposite sex (where Sheldon and Amy Farrah Fowler are concerned). Most recently, Leonard elected to pursue something of substance with Priya, despite the protests of her big brother, Raj. Will Penny, already bothered by her ex’s meaningful hook-up, have more to say on the matter? And if she does, would Leonard even hear her out? READ MORE
