Community Cast Previews Greendale's 'Funny,' 'Deranged' (and Zombie-Free!) Halloween
By the end of this Thursday’s Community, you’ll have added a new word to your vocabulary: britta.
A verb created by the Greendale gang invoking the name of one study-grouper, to “britta” more or less means to screw up royally. Case in point: This year’s Halloween-themed installment of the NBC comedy revolves around Britta …READ PREVIEW & VIEW PHOTO GALLERY

Eye on Emmy: Community's Gillian Jacobs Schools Us on 'Complex, Hypocritical' Britta
Britta Perry can be a stick in the mud, for sure. And lord knows she’s just as likely to spoil an indie movie as she is to out a genocide-friendly transfer student. But that Gillian Jacobs can do “righteous” so very right while keeping her Community co-ed comely is testament to her knack for walking that fine line. As Emmy buzz begins to swirl around the sophomore crowd-pleaser, TVLine spoke with Jacobs about being Britta. READ MORE
Community's Gillian Jacobs Teases Paintball Finale, Part 2: 'The Dynamic Will Change'
This Thursday at 8/7c, NBC’s Community concludes its sophomore run with Part 2 of its season finale, “For a Few Paintballs More.” When last we tuned in, the dean’s idea to end the school year with a new round of paintball assassin sent the Greendale gang into Wild West mode, complete with Pierce lording over a saloon and the arrival of the Black Rider (Lost‘s Josh Holloway), an hombre as handsome as he was mysterious.
That gunman for hire was felled in the closing moments of Part 1, but then a larger threat emerged: the costumed mascot for Pistol Patty’s Cowboy Creamery and a Star Wars-flavored platoon of pistol-packers. Is it time for the splintered study bunch to assail this evil army as an ensemble? READ MORE
Exclusive Video Preview: Community's Paintball War, With 'Sawyer' and Annie's (Actual) Boobs
“Raised stakes.” “Explosive.” “Colorful.” “Graphic.” “Sawyer.”
Those are just a few of the words the cast of Community use to describe the NBC comedy’s “epic” two-part finale (kicking off this Thursday at 8/7c), which is filled with Western regalia and another brutal paintball battle. I was on set for Night 1 of the season-ending shoot — with Lost‘s Josh Holloway in my direct eyeline — to chat with the Greendale gang about what to expect from the “Modern Warfare” follow-up, and guess what? It’s everything they teased above, and more. WATCH VIDEO & READ MORE

The Community crew has really been holding out on us! Sure, we’ve seen an adventure or two (zombiepocalypses, paintball wars) over the years, but this Thursday’s installment (NBC, 8/7c) presents Greendale in a whole new light — one alternately featuring ghosts, glee clubs, and a great love (or loathing) of something called The Cape. As “clip” shows go, this episode is rather epic, boasting some 78 separate (and brand-new) scenes. I’m here to dish on 12 of the standouts. Plus, find out what the cast and creators have to say about the laborious undertaking. READ MORE
PaleyFest '11: Six Surprising Spoilers From the Community Panel
Community took the stage at PaleyFest ’11 Tuesday night, and it may have been the highlight of the entire festival. Minus two of its brightest stars (Alison Brie and Donald Glover), Joel McHale and Co., including boss-man Dan Harmon, laughed their way through a panel that featured Greendale scoop, baby blabber and an audience member “Pop! Pop!”-in’. …READ MORE

New Players Complicate Community Triangle!
This much we know about the romantic messiness on NBC’s Community (Thursdays at 8/7c): Joel McHale‘s Jeff famously slept with Britta (during last season’s spectacular bit of paintball warfare), but also made out with Annie.
The latter incident, we realized before the comedy’s holiday break, had quite the impact on Ms. Edison, who during the “Conspiracy Theory” “shoot-out” professed her love for her study group leader. And despite her protestations otherwise, that was not necessarily a heat-of-the-moment piece of acting. READ MORE
