Dancing With the Stars Season 16 Finale: Did the Right Couple Win the Mirrorball Trophy?

Dancing With The Stars Winner

After 10 long, highly predictable (and occasionally entertaining) weeks, Dancing With The Stars’ Season 16 finale offered variations on – anticlimax alert! — what we’ve been witnessing since the premiere: Disney teen queen Zendaya still dazzling (her samba, Cha Cha relay and hip hop-themed freestyle on Monday scored a trio of perfect scores from the judges), Kellie Pickler in hot pursuit (just one stinkin’ Cha Cha-fueled point behind), and a game Aly Raisman (just 4 points in arrears) primed to potentially crash the party. Dancing With the Stars Week 9 Results: Did the Right Couple Go Home?

ALEXANDRA RAISMAN, MARK BALLAS

Throughout Season 16 of Dancing With the Stars, the final moments of each Tuesday-night results show seemed to be as predictable as a Len Goodman hissy fit. Like clockwork, the flat-footed celeb who most deserved to be banished from the ballroom that week – Wynonna Judd, Lisa Vanderpump, D.L. Hughley and Sean Lowe, to name a few – was predictably sent packing. READ MORE

Dancing With the Stars Week 8 Results

Following Andy Dick’s inevitable departure last week, we entered a new, anything-goes era on Week 8 of Dancing With the Stars. Or perhaps I should say, anyone goes, because from here on out, no celeb (except maybe Zendaya) is truly safe from a shocking ballroom boot. READ MORE

Dancing With the Stars Week 7 Results: Did the Right Couple Go Home?

KELLIE PICKLER, DEREK HOUGH

With the hot and heavy lineup of salsas, sambas and rumbas — not to mention the Immunity Challenges and Dance-Offs — that filled the ballroom floor during Monday’s Latin Night festivities, you’d think the tension level going into tonight’s Dancing With the Stars’ live results show would’ve been equally sizzling. Dancing With the Stars Week 6 Results: Did The Right Couple Go Home?

SEAN LOWE, PETA MURGATROYD

It took six long weeks, but Sean Lowe finally danced (totally) sans shirt on Monday, fulfilling that fine print in his Dancing With the Stars Season 16 contract that you know stipulated he show off his trademark pecs and abs.

But with Sean’s requisite pec-baring moment behind him, the focus turned to the fumble-footed hunk’s not-so-fancy footwork — and that had to be good news for …READ MORE

Andy Dick Dancing With the Stars

If – and this is a big if – you’re wacky enough to obsess over the Dancing With the Stars‘ Judges’ Leaderboard, then you knew heading into Week 5 results that bottom dwellers Andy Dick and D.L. Hughley seemed most likely to walk the sequined plank. READ MORE

Dancing With the Stars Week 4 Results: Did The Right Couple Go Home?

dancing-with-the-stars-week-4-results

It’s only Week 4, which meant that a bevy of fumble-footed celebs who are all but certain to get an early heave-ho from Season 16 of Dancing With the Stars — Lisa Vanderpump, Victor Ortiz, D. L. Hughley and Sean Lowe, that means you! — entered tonight’s live results show still technically in the hunt for Mirrorball glory.

Which is why I was pretty sure the most tension-filled, hotly anticipated moment of the telecast …READ MORE
