Angel, who is miserable working at a fast-food dump, is desperate to make a change; he decides to swallow his pride and go for it. Unfortunately he tanks his interview, but when he fixes the boss's car, he too is hired - also as a woman. Because of that journey, he is a different man and ready to try and find love again, when "The Bachelor" premieres MONDAY, JANUARY 2 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. (ABC/RICK ROWELL)
BEN FLAJNIK, HOLLY

CBS refused to be Bowl’d over by ESPN’s college football coverage and handily topped its Monday broadcast rivals in both total viewers and in the coveted 18-49 demo. Meanwhile, ABC’s Bachelor Ben looked to be a bit soft compared to the dating show’s previous cycle.
